In partnership with the Chopin Foundation of the United States, I’m proud to be creating and hosting The Chopin Podcast, starring Garrick Ohlsson and featuring a number of special guests. Over the course of 12 episodes, we delve into the greatest piano music ever composed, with each episode dedicated to a different compositional genre of Chopin.
In 2021 I was approached by Lowry Yankwich, producer and host of the 30Bach Podcast, who was interested in collaborating on a new podcast for Tonebase. I jumped at the idea, and soon we were hard at work devising the first episode. Soon The Tonic was born, a podcast about music and the people who make it, delving into the hidden meanings behind great works of the past with legendary pianists of the present.
